What does probe bandwidth or frequency range mean? How high a frequency should I choose?

Probe bandwidth defines the upper frequency limit at which it can transmit signals while maintaining signal integrity. We generally recommend that the probe's -3 dB bandwidth be at least 3 times the highest frequency of your test signal (for digital signals, above the 5th harmonic of the clock frequency). For example, to test a 40 GHz microwave device, a 50 GHz or 67 GHz probe is a good choice; for 110 GHz terahertz applications, a probe rated at 110 GHz is required. We offer probes from DC to 220 GHz and beyond, and all probes come with measured S-parameter curves to ensure transparent performance across the full band.

My chip pad layout is very special. Can you make fully custom probes?

This is one of our core capabilities. We accept customization for multi-tip arrangements, special impedance control, and custom tip shapes. The process is usually: you provide pad coordinates/design files → we evaluate feasibility and provide simulation verification → confirm the design → fast delivery.
